This is a fruity and spicy flavored brew that is a favorite in Germany. It is normal for this beer to have a remarkably cloudy finish. A liquid yeast strain accompanies the recipe in order to replicate the true flavors of a traditional hefeweizen.

This German Hefeweizen really came out good, the liquid yeast and Saaz hops combined to create a highly drinkable beer with good carbonation and golden color. We enjoyed the first samplings with a slice of lemon, it was really good!
